Meet the Founder
Charity (Chari) Oisamoje is the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of The Finance Key. She leads editorial standards, content strategy, and publishing quality across the site’s U.S., Canada, and cross-border money coverage.
The Finance Key was created to make complex financial topics easier to understand through practical, reader-first content. Across guides, reviews, explainers, and comparison resources, the goal is to help readers make more confident money decisions.
The Founder’s Financial Background
Charity O. is a finance professional and educator with 15+ years of experience across accounting, financial management, reporting, forecasting, internal controls, and business operations, with experience in handling accounts in the millions.
She holds an MBA in Finance with Distinction from Vancouver Island University (Canada), an MSc in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She is also a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), a Canadian Investment Funds (IFIC) graduate, and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) candidate.
Charity O. is a 2017 Fellow of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) and was recognized as Most Innovative Participant at the YALI RLC.
